Statement
I don’t confine my artwork to any singular style or genre. Instead, I embrace an eclectic approach, drawing inspiration from a wide range of artistic forms and seamlessly blending them into something new. My creative process is deeply fueled by poignant stories, breathtaking landscapes, and the boundless world of imagination. Each piece I create is a synthesis of emotion, culture, and vision, merging the real with the surreal.
Biography
Liu Shi (Lucy) was born in a quaint city nestled in northeast China, where her passion for art began at a young age. Over the years, Lucy’s love for travel has taken her across the globe—from the charming streets of France to the cultural marvels of the UAE, Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Russia. Each journey has been an opportunity to immerse herself in diverse cultures and absorb new artistic techniques and concepts, enriching her own practice. Currently residing in Dallas, Texas, Lucy continues to evolve as an artist. Her days are filled with experimenting with innovative aesthetic ideas, creating fresh works of art, and balancing her creative pursuits with the joys of raising her 5-year-old son. Every moment of her life, whether spent in the studio or at home, informs the beauty and depth found in her art.
